Terms of Service
By creating a SplitPerks account you agree to these terms. SplitPerks is operated by SplitPerks Inc. (also "we", "us"), a corporation incorporated in the Province of Ontario, Canada. SplitPerks is a marketplace that connects people who want to share the cost of a subscription plan. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the services being shared.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. One account per person.
Wallet & payments
Members add funds to a SplitPerks wallet and pay for memberships from that balance. When you join a group, your share is paid instantly and the host is credited the same amount in their wallet. A service fee of 5% + $1.50 per group is added on top of the host's price.
Refunds
If a host fails to deliver access, open a claim from your dashboard or email support@splitperks.com. If we rule in your favor we refund the host's share back to your wallet and cancel the membership. The service fee is non-refundable. Refunds are issued at SplitPerks' discretion after review.
Hosting responsibly
Hosts must provide working access to every paid member and only list plans they're entitled to share. Sharing an account may be restricted by the underlying service's own terms — you are responsible for ensuring your sharing is permitted. SplitPerks doesn't guarantee any third party's service.
Prohibited use
No fraud, no reselling credentials you don't control, no harassment of other members, and no use that violates applicable law. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Liability
SplitPerks is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect damages or for the acts of third-party services. Buyer protection is limited to the refund process described above.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where local consumer law gives you mandatory rights, nothing here is intended to limit them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app. Continuing to use SplitPerks after a change means you accept the revised terms.
